DRAFT BIERS

IMPORTS

Hofbräu Original 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 5.1% IBU: 24
Hofbräuhaus is a symbol of Munich’s hospitality and the Bavarian gift for creating a snug and cozy atmosphere. A sweet, bready aroma of grains, yeast, and fresh honey with a touch of hops. Tastes of yeast and sweet, bready malts infused with spicy hops and floral notes. I’ll drink to that!

Hofbräu Munchen Märzen 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 5.8% IBU: 26
Originating in Germany, this style was traditionally brewed in the Spring (“Marzen” meaning “March”) and aged throughout Summer. This beer is rich in malt with a caramel and bisquit flavor that creates a supple-soft, full-bodied taste with a slightly sweet finish. Prost!.

Warsteiner 7.75/13.95
North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany ABV: 4.8% IBU: 28
Brewed with top-quality ingredients and exceptionally soft water from Warsteiner’s own natural spring water out of the Arnsberg forest. A refreshing, pale golden pilsener with a clean taste. Perfectly balanced with hints of barley malt, subtle bottom fermenting yeast tones and mild hoppy bitterness.

Warsteiner Premium Dunkel 7.75/13.95
North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany ABV: 4.9% IBU: 19
A rich dark amber beer with a full-flavored, smooth taste. It is nicely accented with satisfying notes of roasted malt and subtle bottom fermenting yeast tones. This delicious Dunkel (meaning dark) is extremely enjoyable with a slight chocolaty taste. Yummy.

Franzikaner Hefe-Weissbier 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 5% IBU: 12
The copper golden wheat beer unfolds with tastes of sweet-toned banana, clove spice and a twist of citrus fruit. Due to the higher carbonic acid content, it is particularly sparkling and pearling. It’s an unmistakable, fresh, spicy and fruity taste with a mild, sweetish finish. #unfiltered.

Paulaner Munchin Hefe-weizen 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 5.5 % IBU: 14
Did someone say banana? The #1 wheat beer in Germany and one of the world’s favorites. In fact, beer experts call it a masterpiece. Specifically cultivated, top-fermented yeast gives it its unmistakable taste character: sparklingly mild, tangy and fruity hops with a delicate yeast flavor.

Hacker Pschorr Munich Gold 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 5.5% IBU: 15
100% natural and few can compare. Hacker Pshorr is a full-bodied but yet mild taste with accents of nectarine and golden raisin which delivers an increasingly bitter note before leading up to an aromatic finish. Praline, clay and delicate grain cereal aroma with a hint of hoppiness. This is a soft, easy to drink lager.

Spaten Optimator Doppelbock 7.75/13.95
Bavaria, Germany ABV: 7.6% IBU: 25
The classic German dark beer, this bottom fermented Dopplebock is full-bodied with a deep dark color and rich roasted malt flavor. The extra strength takes nothing away from the drinkability of this beer. Tap that.

Kostritzner Schwarzbier Black Lager 7.75/13.95
Thuringia, Germany ABV: 4.8% IBU: 22
Toasted bitter flavor with bittersweet herbs. A gentle tingle balances with an elegant and intensely aromatic freshness with a slight taste of coffee. Finishes with delicate bitter notes and a malty sweetness on the palate.

Bitburger Premium Pilsner 7.50/13.95
Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany ABV: 4.8% IBU: 38
Without a doubt Pils is Germanys favorite style of beer and is also the most popular draft beer in bars across Germany. This gracefully slender beer combines intense flavor with a light elegance. A fine liveliness brings forth mild fruitiness and freshness with a hint of malty biscuit, honey, and cracker. Floral hops bring on some spice and bitterness, along with some lime. Good body and high carbonation create a nice bite at the end.

Modelo 6.75/12.50
Mexico ABV: 4.5% IBU: 12
Modelo is the second most popular imported beer to the U.S. This rich full flavored Pilsner style lager delivers a crisp, refreshing taste. Well-balanced flavor and light hop character with a crisp, clean finish. Modelo Especial is characterized by an orange blossom honey aroma with a hint of herb.
Add a lime and salt for more tang.

DOMESTIC

Altstadt Kolsh 6.75/12.50
Fredericksburg, TX ABV: 4.9% IBU: 20
Smooth, crisp, well-balanced blend of select German malts, noble hops, and top fermenting yeast. The results taste of husky malt flavor with a bit of bread dough, moderate pepper spice and back notes of pear, with just a kiss of hops at the end.

Altstadt Lager 6.75/12.50
Fredericksburg, TX ABV: 4.8% IBU: 18
Altstadt’s traditional Munich-style Helles Lager is a bright, clean, malt-driven beverage brewed with the finest German malted barley. Brewed in the historic Fredericksburg, Texas, we’ve added just enough noble hops from the Hallertau region to balance out its malty character.

Altstadt Light 6.75/12.50
Fredericksburg, TX ABV: 3.5% IBU: 19
A light yet crisp and flavorful brew that uses 100% German malts, with no additives. The perfect balance of malt and hops delivers a floral and slightly sweet aroma, a smooth light body, with a clean, dry finish. This is your low-calorie German-style lager that doesn’t sacrifice flavor.

Alamo Golden Ale 6.75/12.50
San Antonio, TX ABV: 4.7% IBU: 16
The brew that started it all for the Alamo Beer Company, the true taste of Texas. This light-bodied blonde ale features grassy hops, sweet grains and a touch of spiciness leaving one with a nice crisp grainy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mmm mmm good.

Alamo Bulldog Bock 6.75/12.50
San Antonio, TX ABV: 4.8% IBU: 16
Bulldog Bock, with years in the making and crafted locally exclusively for the Mad Dogs restaurant group. A very smooth and drinkable brew. Pours copper with a creamy tan head and a caramel, toasty finish. It is the perfect brew to warm your heart and delicious enough to put our name on it.

ZiegenBock Amber 5.75/10.95
Houston, TX ABV: 4.9% IBU: 14
Ziegenbock is the German word for Billy goat, which makes sense considering it is the specialty GOAT beer served straight out of the South. It is a smooth, full-flavored, bock beer with a distinctive hop character and a balanced malty flavor. Brewed with hand-picked imported floral hops and sweet grains. The taste is a combination of roasted and caramelized malts that produces its unique character with a rich deep amber color.

Michelob Ultra 5.75/10.95
Houston, TX ABV 4.2% IBU: 10
A superior light beer with only 95 calories. Sip, Sip, Hooray! Brewed using the finest barley malt, select grains, all-imported hops and a pure-cultured yeast strain. The special choice of grains combined with the extended mashing process produces a smooth, refreshing beer with fewer carbohydrates.

Sam Adams Lager 6.75/12.50
Boston, MA ABV: 5.0% IBU: 30
Samuel Adams uses only the finest of ingredients as well as German Noble aroma hops. The exclusive use of two row barley not only imparts a full, smooth body (who doesn’t love a smooth body) but also gives the beer a wide spectrum of malt flavor ranging from slightly sweet to caramel to roasted. The Noble hops varieties adds a wide range of floral, piney and citrus notes, which are present from the aroma, throughthe flavor, to the lasting smooth finish.

Hopadillo 6.75/12.50
Houston, TX ABV: 6.6% IBU: 65
Don’t worry be hoppy! Crafted by Karbach in Houston TX, this beer begins with a big bready and caramel taste with lots of tropical fruits also a good sum of grapefruit hops. This creates a nice sweeter and malty taste with a decent hop hit. At the end, the grapefruit surges and is joined by a bit of herbal hop and sweet taste to linger on the tongue.

Finally found my go to for German food and beer. We found this place tucked away on the riverwalk and loved it. The food is really good and love the beer.

William Stafford

I love the semi-secluded location. We found many appealing German foods on the menu, how to choose. The Food was great, as was the service.

James Kauczka

First time in a long while that I've been able to find the authentic taste of Bavaria in food. Brought back memories of street market stalls with their wonderful food.
